The Beauty Folio is owned and operated by Garcon’s Group, Inc. (“The Beauty Folio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We may update, revise, or replace these Terms of Use at any time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Editorial and Informational Nature of the Services

The Beauty Folio is an editorial publication covering the beauty industry, including beauty business, brand movement, retail, fragrance, culture, market trends, founders, product stories, and related topics.

All content is provided for general informational, editorial, educational, and commentary purposes only. Nothing on the Services should be understood as professional advice, including but not limited to financial, investment, legal, medical, dermatological, regulatory, tax, business, or product safety advice. You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, and suitability of any information before relying on it.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the Services for your personal, internal, non-commercial use.

You may share brief excerpts from publicly available articles for commentary, reference, or social sharing, provided that you include clear attribution to The Beauty Folio and a direct link to the original page. 7. Trademarks

“The Beauty Folio,” our logos, designs, slogans, and related names are trademarks, trade names, or service marks of The Beauty Folio and/or Garcon’s Group, Inc. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

Third-party names, logos, products, publications, companies, and brands referenced on the Services are the property of their respective owners. Reference to any third party does not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or approval unless expressly stated.

8. Accounts, Registration, and Security

Certain features may require registration, account creation, newsletter signup, subscription, or other user information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as needed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not share your login credentials with others. Each account or subscription is intended for individual use unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

10. Paid Subscriptions, Reports, and Digital Products

If a product or subscription renews automatically, the renewal terms, billing frequency, price, and cancellation method will be disclosed at the point of purchase. By purchasing an auto-renewing subscription, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:

• digital products, reports, downloadable materials, and paid editorial products are final sale;
• subscription fees are non-refundable once charged;
• cancellation stops future billing but does not provide a partial refund for the current billing period;
• access may continue through the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated;
• prices, subscription features, access levels, and availability may change at any time;
• we may modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace any paid product, report, subscription, feature, or content library.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate any purchase, account, subscription, or access to paid content at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, unauthorized sharing, misuse, technical error, or violation of these Terms.

11. Advertising, Affiliate Links, Sponsored Content, and Brand Relationships

However, the presence of a brand, product, retailer, founder, investor, service provider, company, or expert on the Services does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, warranty, or guarantee by The Beauty Folio.

We are not responsible for any products, services, claims, representations, pricing, availability, fulfillment, returns, warranties, or conduct of third parties.

13. User Submissions, Comments, Pitches, and Feedback

You may submit comments, messages, emails, editorial pitches, story ideas, feedback, corrections, suggestions, images, files, social media messages, or other materials to us, collectively, “Submissions.”

Unless we enter into a separate written agreement, Submissions are not confidential, proprietary, or submitted on a promise of compensation, credit, publication, review, or response. Please do not send confidential business plans, trade secrets, embargoed information, proprietary product information, private personal information, or sensitive material unless we have expressly agreed in writing to receive it.

By sending or posting a Submission, you represent that you own or have the necessary rights to provide it and that it does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate the rights of any person or entity. You grant The Beauty Folio, Garcon’s Group, Inc., and our affiliates, licensees, successors, and assigns a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, transferable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, distribute, archive, excerpt, adapt, and otherwise exploit the Submission in any media, format, or channel, whether now known or later developed, for editorial, operational, promotional, archival, or commercial purposes.

We may, but are not obligated to, review, edit, remove, refuse, publish, or respond to any Submission. We are not responsible for maintaining copies of Submissions and may delete them at any time.

14. Public Forums and Community Areas

If we make comments, forums, community spaces, event chats, or other interactive areas available, you are solely responsible for what you post. You may not post or transmit material that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, obscene, discriminatory, invasive of privacy, infringing, misleading, spam, promotional without permission, malicious, or otherwise objectionable.

You may not impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your affiliation, upload malware, interfere with site security, or collect information about other users. We may remove content or restrict access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe these Terms or applicable law have been violated.

15. Copyright Complaints and DMCA Notices

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe material on the Services infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to info@thebeautyfolio.com containing:

• your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• identification of the material claimed to be infringing and where it appears on the Services;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the person sending the notice is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner .
